The spread list that AvaTrade charges start from 0.9 pips on EUR/USD.


AvaTrade charges a fixed spread list that varies between different financial instruments. The typical spreads that traders can expect when trading with AvaTrade are as follows:

AvaTrade does not charge commissions because the broker fees are already worked into the spread.


Additional Trading Fees

Overnight fees, also known as swap fees or rollovers, are either credited or debited depending on the financial instrument being held and whether the trader is holding a long or short position. Each instrument offered by AvaTrade has its own swap fees.


However, traders can expect some of the following typical overnight fees:

  • EUR/USD – Sell rate of -0.0031% and Buy rate of -0.0064%
  • GBP/USD – Sell rate of 0.0047% and Buy rate of -0.0049%
  • USD/JPY – Sell rate of 0.0054% and Buy rate of -0.0039%
  • USD/ZAR – Sell rate of 0.0056% and Buy rate of -0.0186%


AvaTrade offers Muslim traders the option of converting their retail account into that of an Islamic account, exempting them from interests derived from trading activities. The Islamic account reflects the features of the retail account and offers Muslim traders the following:
